Dumaguete and Apo Island? Kaayo !

It used to be that when weddings take place in another region or city, it meant that one couldn’t go. But thank God for Cebu Pacific’’s low air fares, I was able to witness a joyous union and to take advantage of another opportunity to see the beauty of our country.

Visiting Dumaguete, for the second time around and after two years, was well worth it. I rediscovered familiar places and enjoyed new ones.

A perfect setting to the wedding : the infinity pool of the Antulang resort while the sun was setting. Majestic fireworks completed the wedding kiss.

A stay in Dumaguete wouldn’t be complete without tasting the variety of tasty foods. From the tempura and balut along the boulevard, the chicken inato and ___ bangus of Joe’s, the pizza and chilli or ginataang crab of Hayahay, to the crispy pata and liempo of Antulang. The fruits were deliciois. No wonder all of us gained a kilo or more in our short stay here.

From Dumaguete, several beautiful islands are only a boat away (30 minutes to one hour of travel). Hearing a lot about its beauty, we decided to enjoy a day in Apo Island .

We had a great time, made more lovelier because of the wonderful people we met. How to describe this whole trip? Kaayo!

Lion Chaser Manifesto

Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. Set God-sized goals. Pursue God-ordained passions. Go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention. Keep asking questions. Keep making mistakes. Keep seeking God. Stop pointing out problems and become part of the solution. Stop repeating the past and start creating the future. Stop playing it safe and start taking risks. Expand your horizons. Accumulate experiences. Enjoy the journey. Find every excuse you can to celebrate everything you can. Live like today is the first day and last day of your life. Don't let what's wrong with you keep you from worshiping what's right with God. Burn sinful bridges. Blaze new trails. Criticize by creating. Worry less about what people think and more about what God thinks. Don't try to be who you're not. Be yourself. Laugh at yourself. Quit holding out. Quit holding back. Quit running away.
