Final?

There are things and people that come into your life and then suddenly, they disappear. And you wonder why. What is the purpose of encountering them if like a bubble, they burst into nothing?

The answer? So that these things could help you grow. Through the journey of life, we meet thousands of these kinds. And all one can do is to remember them. And most importantly, to learn from them. You never know, one day soon, when you meet them again or experience it again, you are a better person to handle the situation.

Good-bye. I learned a lot.

Wow.. this is exactly what I am feeling right these past few weeks!

Just the thought that one day, I will wake up and the person will be off to another country for the rest of my life is just too much to bear.

For several weeks now, I have invested so much time, energy and emotions to develop a friendship with someone. And in a few months time, it will be all over.

Sigh. It sucks big time.

Sometimes people are brought to our lives for a particular season, for them as well as for us--its a good thing God is constant, unchanging and "undisappearing!" I am back na, I dont really disappear, just pop in and out like a cork. Hehe...meet up with you one of these days ha?

Lion Chaser Manifesto

Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. Set God-sized goals. Pursue God-ordained passions. Go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention. Keep asking questions. Keep making mistakes. Keep seeking God. Stop pointing out problems and become part of the solution. Stop repeating the past and start creating the future. Stop playing it safe and start taking risks. Expand your horizons. Accumulate experiences. Enjoy the journey. Find every excuse you can to celebrate everything you can. Live like today is the first day and last day of your life. Don't let what's wrong with you keep you from worshiping what's right with God. Burn sinful bridges. Blaze new trails. Criticize by creating. Worry less about what people think and more about what God thinks. Don't try to be who you're not. Be yourself. Laugh at yourself. Quit holding out. Quit holding back. Quit running away.

Chase the lion.
